RAISE Forum Announces Finalists for Inaugural Startup Event

Nine Finalists Selected to Present to Active Southeastern Investors

ATLANTA (Oct. 29, 2015) – RAISE Forum announces nine finalists selected to present during its inaugural

event Friday, Nov. 6 at Emory’s Goizueta Business School. The forum is the first of its kind to bring

together mature early-stage companies and investors from across the Southeast with the goal of closing

the region’s funding gap and providing new and strategic investment opportunities to a broader pool of

The nine companies selected to present include SigniX, Clean Hands Safe Hands, Clinigence,

NexDefense, Prong, SkyMedicus, NFANT, MetroTech and FotoIN Mobile. The qualifiers will present to a

group of hand-selected investors who chose the finalists from a large pool of qualified applicants.

These companies were selected by a group of Goizueta MBA students and seasoned investors who felt

the companies are all mature enough to be considered viable ventures. The selection committee

intentionally matched presenting companies with investors who have synergies within industries and

RAISE Forum finalists completed a training course to prepare for presentations to investors. Training was

provided by RAISE Forum advisors and discipline sponsors in the fields of accounting, law, real estate
