RAISE Forum Announces New Date!
The RAISE Forum (Retention and Advanced Investment for the Southeast at Emory) has changed the date of its next event at Emory University. The new date is Friday May 20th at The Goizueta School.
The school will now be able to accommodate two of its most prestigious faculty members - Charlie Goetz, the head of the entrepreneurship program and Klaas Baks, Executive Director of the Emory Center for Alternative Investments. The new date also avoids a conflict with other financial events in Atlanta.
The RAISE Forum's new date also allows us to invite many of the top investors in the Southeast and attract some of the most exciting new growth ventures in the region. The Forum's unique "presentation and conversation" format has been called "the most efficient way" for investors to preview new business pitches and one that puts well-prepared companies in front of active VCs and funds.
RAISE is looking for in-revenue Southeast companies that now need a $1MM - 5MM capital infusion to execute their growth plan. Applications can be submitted right on the website (raiseforum.com); there is no cost to apply.
RAISE is a unique and now proven forum that hopes to fund the best Southeast companies using active Southeast investors, thus filling in some of the funding gap in the region as well as helping to solidify the Southeast rising reputation as an entrepreneurial hub. Most of the attendees at the Forum in November proclaimed it, "the best they'd ever been a part of."
